Meenkala began with a simple thought — why does good design so often come without good fabric? I wanted to create a brand where both matter equally, where style and comfort go hand in hand.

Too often, clothes look beautiful at first glance but don’t feel right once you wear them. The fabric doesn’t breathe, the fit feels off, or the piece slowly gets pushed to the back of the wardrobe. I wanted something different - clothing that feels just as good at the end of the day as it did when you first put it on.

I believe there is art in every weave. To me, fabric is just as important as design. A beautiful print means little if it doesn’t breathe well or move comfortably with you.

From timeless kurtis to modern co-ord sets, every piece is carefully reviewed before it becomes part of Meenkala. I ask myself one simple question — would I truly wear this? If the answer isn’t yes, it doesn’t make it into the collection
